Leadership

The creation and maintenance of a research network require the efforts of more than one individual. Hoover IP² is jointly governed by a project director, a Steering Committee composed of distinguished academics from both inside and outside the Hoover Institution, and an External Advisory Board composed of accomplished practitioners from government and the private sector.

Stephen Haber, senior fellow at the Hoover Institution, faculty member at Stanford University, and the working group project director, serves as the Steering Committee chair. Richard Sousa, senior associate director at the Hoover Institution, serves as a Steering Committee member and as its administrator. Rod Cooper, the principal at Protecting Assets of the Mind and a member of the Hoover Institution Board of Overseers, leads the External Advisory Board.
